Come
early and beat the heat and get your nature boost. We need your help to keep
the Garden watered and the sweet potatoes, peanuts and other beds weeded in the education
garden. The muscadine grapes should be ripening - sample as you work and take home a handful if they're ready!
We will provide a cooler of cold water. Please bring a water bottle. *Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent/adult!
- Wear long pants, long sleeves; and closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED!
- *Be warned: No restroom facilities at or close to this site.
PARKING: Use the listed address for GPS - 3105 Winterfield Place, 28205 - the Garden is on the right directly across from Winterfield Elementary School. Park on the street in front of the Garden's main entrance, or in the school parking lot.
