Join us for a garden workday at Lincoln Heights Community Garden, as part of the Spring Fling celebration! We'll be caring for vegetables and flowers by weeding, trimming, etc.; as well as working on any other tasks that need to be accomplished! We'll also be helping with a thorough cleanup of the gardens and Park!
All materials and supplies will be provided! Below are some additional instructions for a safe and productive Volunteer project day:
- Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (REQUIRED!) for safety! Wear old clothes/shoes that can get muddy or dirty, especially if you plan to help with painting.
- Bring your own heavy-duty work gloves, if you prefer - gloves will also be provided.
- Bring a refillable water bottle; and wear a hat, sunscreen and bug spray as needed.
- Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult/parent!
