Safe Kids Charlotte partners and Stevens Creek Nature Center staff welcome you to drop-in for free outdoor activities and take-home safety tips. Campfire cooking, yoga, slackline, lawn fishing, nature walks, live animals and crafts are great springtime fun for all ages, so bring the whole family.
VOLUNTEER jobs may include:
- Assist with set up (9-10am) and clean up (1-2pm)
- Patron check-in, attendance counter, and orientation to event
- Assisting staff at stations such as campfire, nature hike, crafts, lawn fishing, slackline
- Provide 15 minute break for staff per station
- Runner for supplies
Event is outdoors on grassy lawn so just dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes; bring your own food/water bottle. Snacks and extra water provided. *Volunteers must be at least 16 years old for this event.
