COME help us build and prepare some raised planting beds for Winterfield Garden's Spring/Summer programs, and learn the pluses and minuses of raised beds in our area. In addition we will be moving and spreading mulch and compost, weeding, and other garden tasks. Take home seeds of our special Aztec marigolds or a tiny zinnia transplant for your own garden.
We will provide a cooler of cold water. Please bring a water bottle.
- Wear long pants, long sleeves; and closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED!
- *Be warned: No restroom facilities at or close to this site.
PARKING: Use the listed address for GPS - 3105 Winterfield Place, 28205 - the Garden is on the right directly across from Winterfield Elementary School. Park on the street in front of the Garden's main entrance, or in the school parking lot.
