Join us for an EARLY FALL workday at Winterfield Community Garden!
We are looking for 10 adult Volunteers plus youth ages 12 and up, to help with renovation of a few of our community garden plots. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
VOLUNTEERS will help with:
- Light weeding, shoveling, mulching.
- Laying down cardboard and/or planting cover crops.
- Bring your own work gloves, hat and water bottle - we'll provide tools and materials for the projects, and extra cold water.
- NO RESTROOMS ON SITE
Come join our work party, take home a bouquet of flowers from our pollinator garden and share a watermelon with us to celebrate the work we get done!
Volunteers must READ and acknowledge the Liability Waiver/Acknowledgment of Risk in their Response - PARENTS must acknowledge for any minors who will attend.
