Join us for another workday at Lincoln Heights Community Garden! Volunteers will help with weeding garden beds and organizing the tool shed; as well as any other tasks that need to be accomplished! We'll also be giving the gardens and Park a thorough clean-up.
All materials and supplies will be provided! Below are some additional instructions for a safe and productive Volunteer project day:
- Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (REQUIRED!) for safety! Wear old clothes/shoes that can get muddy or dirty, especially if you plan to help with painting.
- Bring your own heavy-duty work gloves, if you prefer - gloves will also be provided.
- Bring a refillable water bottle; and wear a hat, sunscreen and bug spray as needed.
Volunteers must READ and acknowledge the Liability Waiver/Acknowledgment of Risk in their Response - PARENTS must acknowledge for any minors who will attend; and add a note in their response for anyone under the age of 13 who will Volunteer (Must be at least 13 to have a separate account).
