Join Park & Recreation and communities across the USA to help "Clean Up the World" in celebration of WORLD CLEAN UP DAY! We will do our part by picking up litter at multiple locations around Mecklenburg County, on September 16 and through the week.
*At Walker Branch Greenway (undeveloped) we will conduct a "heavy" cleanup of trash, debris and junk on September 13 (Wed)! Park in the lot near Goodwill, located at 12716 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, 28273.
- You must be at least 18 years old to help with this cleanup!
- Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes - REQUIRED!
- Bring your own heavy-duty work gloves, face coverings (optional) and water supply, for health and safety - extras will be available.
Each Volunteer should register individually, to acknowledge the Liability Waiver/Acknowledgement of Risk and Safety Guidelines - READ and click to acknowledge in your response.
