For participants 18+ of all abilities. Interested in gardening, but don't know where to start? Start at the Ivory/Baker Community Garden! During this program, participants will learn basic horticulture and gardening skills, prepare and care for various plants, and create related projects!
Volunteers will be asked to assist participants as needed with tasks and activities, as well as encouraging participants to stay engaged. Gardening knowledge is helpful, but not required!
- Due to this program being held primarily outdoors in a garden, volunteers should wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothes and CLOSED-TOE shoes.
- You MUST be at least 18 years old to Volunteer with Therapeutic & Inclusive Recreation Services (TIRS) programs.
