NEW - Winterfield Community Garden is planning an ADDITIONAL Service Learning/Pruning Workshop!
Join retired horticulture professor Annie West for a "pruning party" at Winterfield Community Garden. Learn proper pruning techniques and sanitation and help us care for our small community orchard! Practice on our trees and take skills home to your own yard!
Please bring your own work gloves, lopper and hand pruners, and a water bottle. We will also be moving mulch and clearing debris on this date. We'll provide additional tools and materials for the projects. *Be warned: No restroom facilities at or close to this site.
Volunteers must READ and acknowledge the Liability Waiver/Acknowledgment of Risk in their Response - PARENTS must acknowledge for any minors who will attend; and add a note in their response for anyone under the age of 13 who will Volunteer (Must be at least 13 to have a separate account). Volunteers under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
