As old man winter retreats, it's time to get outside and make a difference. Help restore natural habitat for native insects as we clean out a portion of the woods. Remove invasive plants and trash, then collect logs from other locations for improving habitat. This is a family-friendly volunteer opportunity for ages 10+.
Pre-registration required for all Volunteers (adult and children alike), at least 2 days before the project date. All tools are provided, though you are encourage to bring your own work/garden gloves. Dress for the weather (long pants, closed-toe shoes REQUIRED!), and in clothes that can get dirty/ripped. Bring a water bottle, and snacks as desired.
Masks are not required for this outdoor activity but are required inside the nature center - Please come prepared with a mask, or staff can provide one if needed. Masks are recommended by the CDC for unvaccinated persons in al social settings.
