Park & Recreation is partnering with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services as they host their 4th Annual Creek Week, March 19-26! It will be a week filled with educational opportunities and volunteer events for all ages. These activities are centered around gaining knowledge about and caring for the precious waterways of Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
For the grand finale, on March 26th Storm Water will have staff at multiple locations for THE BIG SPRING CLEAN to hold a County-wide litter pickup of our local water ways - Park & Recreation will co-host a cleanup at Little Sugar Creek Greenway/Metropolitan.

Volunteers should plan to bring their own work gloves, face coverings and water supply - we will continue to be diligent in protecting everyone's health and safety!
- Volunteers must be at least 10 years old. Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult!
- Each Volunteer must sign up individually in order to acknowledge their review of and agreement with the Volunteer Waiver/Acknowledgement of Risk and Safety Guidelines - READ and click to acknowledge in your response. An adult must acknowledge for anyone under the age of 18.
