HELP US CELEBRATE CREEK WEEK! On this date, Park & Recreation partners with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water to conduct BOTH a Greenway and Stream litter cleanup!
A great way to spend an hour AT LUNCHTIME by getting outdoors and helping in your community - Please plan to arrive early, so that we can check in Volunteers, divide into Stream (in the water) and Greenway teams, and review safety instructions.
Volunteers should plan to bring their own work gloves, face coverings and water supply - we will continue to be diligent in protecting everyone's health and safety!
- Volunteers must be at least 10 years old. Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult!
- Each Volunteer must sign up individually in order to acknowledge their review of and agreement with the Volunteer Waiver/Acknowledgement of Risk and Safety Guidelines - READ and click to acknowledge in your response. An adult must acknowledge for anyone under the age of 18.
