National Trails Day® is your chance to get outdoors, connect with your community, and give back to the trails you love! Join American Hiking in celebrating our shared passion for the outdoors while inspiring your community to leave the trails better than we found them. Together, we can make an impact, removing trash from McAlpine Creek Park! This service day is suitable for ages 10+ and can count towards required service hours for school/work.
- Please wear long pants for protection from scratches and poison ivy
- Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED, NO Crocs, sandals or flip-flops!
- Bring work gloves if you have them - gloves will also be available. Litter pickers and trash bags are provided.
- Bring your own water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray.
