Join us for SPRING CLEANING at Lincoln Heights Community Garden! Work alongside the Lincoln Heights Gardeners for two hours of pulling weeds, mulching, bed preparation and PLANTING.
All tools and supplies will be provided! A cooler of cold water will be provided, and we will have a few packets of seeds to share! Below are some additional instructions for a safe and productive Volunteer project day:
- Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (REQUIRED!) for safety! Wear old clothes/shoes that can get muddy or dirty.
- Bring your own gardening gloves, if you have them - extra gloves will be available.
- Bring a refillable water bottle; and wear a hat, sunscreen and bug spray.
- Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult/parent!
- Note that there are NO restrooms available at this location!
PARKING: Use the address listed here for Lincoln Heights Park - look for the Garden (tall fence) after passing the playground and picnic shelter. This is a walk-up park, please park legally on the Park/Garden side of the street, without blocking any driveways.
