Work alongside the Education Gardeners at Winterfield Community Garden for two hours of bed preparation and planting of our hot weather crops.
Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand to provide advice and additional resources for gardening in the NC Piedmont. A cooler of cold water will be provided and we will have a few packets of seeds to share!
- Wear long pants and long sleeves; and closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED!
- Please bring a refillable water bottle.
- *Be warned: No restroom facilities at or close to this site.
PARKING: Use the listed address for GPS - 3105 Winterfield Place, 28205 - the Garden is on the right directly across from Winterfield Elementary School. Park on the street in front of the Garden's main entrance, or in the school parking lot.
