It's National Public Lands Day, and activities are happening around the county and across the USA! If you're looking to give back to the community and help beautify a beloved park, grab your work gloves and meet at McAlpine Creek Park for a spirited trash clean up. Be aware that trash may be located off the path, over uneven and muddy ground. Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent/ adult.
- Wear long pants and sleeves; closed-toe shoes are required!
- Bring your own work gloves if you have them - extra gloves and litter pick-up sticks will be available.
- Dress appropriately for the weather; and bring a water bottle and snacks.
