Discover the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math during STEAM Day at Latta - a family-friendly event for all ages! Join Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation's Quest Nature Center and the Carolina Raptor Center for a day filled with hands-on activities, live animal encounters, and interactive exhibits for every member of the family! This special event is expected to serve about 500 participants.
VOLUNTEERS will assist with set up, clean up, and facilitating a variety of activities, including tie-dye, crafting, and science discovery.
- Event time is 10:00am-3:00pm - Volunteers are needed from 9:30am for setup through 3pm for tear-down and cleanup.
- Lunch will be provided for Volunteers!
- Most activities take place inside Quest Nature Center and will not be affected by the weather.
- You must be at least 18 years old to Volunteer for this event.
