Come help us prune our muscadine grapes and thornless blackberries and take home skills you can use on your own shrubs and bushes! Proper pruning cuts, sanitation, and tips on tools will be demonstrated. Mecklenburg Master Gardeners will have an information table with handouts and lots of helpful materials from NC Cooperative Extension.
- Please bring your own work gloves and pruners/loppers if you have them - We'll have some equipment on hand.
- Wear long pants, long sleeves; and closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED!
- *Be warned: No restroom facilities at or close to this site.
PARKING: Use the listed address for GPS - 3105 Winterfield Place, 28205 - the Garden is on the right directly across from Winterfield Elementary School. Park on the street in front of the Garden's main entrance, or in the school parking lot.
