Join the NC Native Plant Society, returning to the Barton Creek Greenway Extension native meadow! Learn how to maintain wildflower meadows, followed by hands-on work: weed pulling, invasive plant removal and trash cleanup.
- Wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes for safety.
- Bring your own WORK gloves - some pruners/clippers/loppers will be provided, bring your own favorite hand tools, if you prefer.
- Bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen and a hat.
PARKING: The GPS address for the Greenway entrance is 9201 J.W. Clay Boulevard; there is limited parking in the Walden Courts apartment complex, you can also park in the University Shoppes across JW Clay Blvd and walk to the Greenway entrance.
