Reedy Creek Nature Center maintains a Native Plant Seed Library, providing free native plant seeds to visitors and community members. We use seeds gathered from our own Native Plant Garden as well as seeds from native plants in our area donated by visitors. We need help getting the seeds cleaned, packaged and labeled so they can be set out for visitors to take home and sow.
VOLUNTEERS will clean and process seeds (may involve breaking open seed pods, removing fluff/chaff, etc.), sort them into seed envelopes, label and seal the envelopes.
- This event takes place in the indoor Classroom; all supplies and materials are provided.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
