Sign up today to help keep your favorite park or greenway clean and healthy by picking up litter! A great way to kick off 2026 - spend an hour AT LUNCHTIME by getting outdoors and helping in your community. Park and meet at Mallard Creek Recreation Center, at the address listed here - we will focus on the grounds around the Center first and move through the rest of the park as time permits. Look for Park & Recreation signs and staff. Below are a few tips and reminders for a SAFE & PRODUCTIVE Volunteer experience: Wear long pants for protection from scratches - Leggings or light-weight athletic pants are fine. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes – REQUIRED, NO sandals, Crocs or flip-flops. Wear OLDER shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, wet or muddy. Bring your own heavy-duty work gloves – extras will be available; litter pickers and trash bags are provided.
