This work day has been RESCHEDULED to April 26! Join us for SPRING PLANTING at Lincoln Heights Community Garden! We'll be planting vegetables and flowers for the Spring season and working on any other tasks that need to be accomplished! We'll also be giving the gardens and Park a thorough clean-up, time permitting.
All materials and supplies will be provided! Below are some additional instructions for a safe and productive Volunteer project day:
- Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (REQUIRED!) for safety! Wear old clothes/shoes that can get muddy or dirty, especially if you plan to help with painting.
- Bring your own heavy-duty work gloves, if you prefer - gloves will also be provided.
- Bring a refillable water bottle; and wear a hat, sunscreen and bug spray as needed.
- Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult/parent!
