Join the McDowell Nature Center in a makeover day for the Outdoor Play Area - the area immediately outside of the Nature Center! This event will be held outside.
VOLUNTEERS can expect to help tear down the existing art structure, build a new art structure, stack logs, cut plants down, pick up trash and any other odd jobs around the play area. Participants will be given exclusive pieces to add to the new art installment to show off their hard work!
Volunteers aged 10 and up are welcome - Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/adult!
Dress to be outdoors. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring your own work gloves!
