Storm Drain Marking involves walking and/or driving to a secondary location and gluing a small placard to the storm drains in the area. During Storm Drain Marking, we will be using an app called Quick Capture to log the drains we mark. Volunteers will meet the Nature Educator at Stevens Creek Nature Center to gather supplies. Transportation to the marking site (5 min drive) will be provided, or you can elect to drive yourself after meeting at the nature center.
Project location: Elibren Lane and/or Clear Creek Farm Road, Matthews, 28227
Please dress appropriately for the weather as we will be spending 2 hours outside - be sure to wear closed toe shoes, comfortable for walking, please no sandals or flip-flops. Bring your own water bottle and snacks.
