Presented by PARTNERS FOR PARKS - We need 10 volunteers to help with event traffic flow, directions, and general visitor questions throughout the event route. We are closing down the streets to connect Lincoln Heights Park, Waddell Park, and Biddleville Park in West Charlotte and we need your help! Volunteers will be placed along the route at different turning points to provide visitors directions and suggestions based on event timeline and walking/biking route. You will be a go-to person for questions about event details, water stations, bathroom locations, and general inquiries. There are two shifts for this opportunity, but feel free to sign up for both and stay the full 3 hours.
Shift One: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Shift Two: 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Important Notes:
-Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
-This event is outdoors, please bring water, wear sunscreen, and dress for the weather!
-Please bring a lawn chair, umbrella, or anything you need to make yourself comfortable along the route.
-This is a rain or shine event!
-EVERY Volunteer must acknowledge the Liability Waiver/Acknowledgement of Risk (Covid).
