Expired

Description

Challenger Flag Football (CFF) is a co-ed adaptive sport program offered by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s Therapeutic & Inclusive Recreation Services, in partnership with the Carolina Panthers. The CFF league gives participants aged 7 and up, with a disability, the opportunity to improve sportsmanship, experience teamwork, and enjoy football! The season runs from September 7 through October 29, with practices on Wednesdays (5:30-6:30pm) and games on Saturdays (9am-12:00).

Volunteers will assist with leading football drills and skills as well as coach teams and assist players on the field as needed. Dress in athletic wear (hats are OK!) and bring your SMILE!

*You must be at least 18 years old to help with Adaptive Sports programs - all Coaches/CFF Volunteers must have a current application/background check on file. Contact VolunteerServices@MeckNC.gov if you need to check your status.
