Who We Are
The Park and Recreation Commission (PRC) is an advisory board that makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners and staff on recreation programming, budget, land acquisition and long-range planning.
The Park and Recreation Commission has 6 advisory councils specializing in specific park and recreation topics, that meet monthly. The Advisory Councils are:
- Central Park Region Advisory Council
- Greenways/Trails Advisory Council
- North Park Region Advisory Council
- Senior Citizens Advisory Council
- South Park Region Advisory Council
- Stewardship Advisory Council
