Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation offers a multitude of quality athletic programs for Adults and Youth, including diverse and inclusive offerings of leagues, tournaments, and clinics.
What We Do
ADULT ATHLETICS: Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation offers a wide variety of team and individual athletic opportunities for adults.
YOUTH ATHLETICS: Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation offers a variety of youth sports & fitness programs throughout the year. All programs are recreation center based and take place at various facilities and parks throughout Mecklenburg County.
GOLF: Fore! Or Actually Six...That's the number of golf facilities that the Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation Department is responsible for. Four (4) 18-hole courses, a 9-hole public course and driving range provide unique experiences for golfers of all skill levels. An expanding partnership with The First Tee of Greater Charlotte provides learning experiences that reinforce nine core values to introduce golf to youth from all walks of life, ages 18 and under.
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation manages disc golf courses at nine parks across the Charlotte region.
